When Sinister Motives was spoiled, my first thought was to bulid a Black Widow SHIELD JUSTICE deck. It seemed only natural and I'll admit she's a hero I often overlook. I tried the deck but thought the result wasn't so hot, just another take on "win in AE" without much to say. I'm a bit stubborn and it kept nagging at me... This deck is the result.

I tried Leadership for a change. The deck isn't built ona complicated strategy but does feature some nice combos. And so far it's been a pretty cool ride!

SHIELD synergy

Of course the SHIELD cards work as a huge combo. Government Liaison helps putting SHIELD cards in play, Sky-Destroyer gives you extra damage every time you do.

Agent 13 is very useful here, allowing you to use supports twice, which includes not only Helicarrier, Government Liaison or Sky-Destroyer, but also Command Team to max the use of your allies, and even Safe House #29 to bring back more preps from the discard!

Dum Dum Dugan has lots of targets to help him boost his ATK or THW, The Triskelion being your top choice since exhausting it doesn't mean you lose anything.

... and the rest

Down Time / Endurance helps keeping a healhty BW, as she can be pretty squishy. A few prep cards like Target Acquired, Espionage but, really, the one to look out for is Rapid Response, allowing you to bring back Dum Dum Dugan when he's defeated to get even more out of him.

Covert Ops allows safe returns to AE to benefit from 'mission prep' and Safe House #29.

The one card that may seem pretty odd here is Call for Aid but, in fact, when you've got enough preparation cards in play, it is called "search and put Winter Soldier in play for free".

BW has an amazing kit, lots of cards to put in play to fit any situation, and with that many upgrades and supports you can thin out your deck like crazy! By the end of the games, I 'd narrowed my deck to under 20 cards. So far keeping the schemes in check and kicking the villain down hasn't been a problem, although I haven't put the deck through all scenarios.

Have fun!

I'm always on the lookout for decks that make heroes I don't particularly enjoy seem more appealing. This looks perfect for that criteria. Cheers :) I'm curious about why there's only 1 Government Liaison. Can you exhaust multiple at a time to stack the benefit, or is it just > exhaust one > play a card > then exhaust another > play a different card?

@Marctimmins89

Thanks!

Indeed Government Liaison works much like Team-Building Exercise; it doesn't stack because, if you do exactly what it says, you have to play a card from your hand when you exhaust it.

If you exhaust a second Government Liaison, then you have to play another card... the reduced cost applying only to the card you play from your hand at that moment.

Part of the confusion about these cards come from the comparison with Helicarrier, but the carrier does not ask you to play a card, it asks you to choose a player, who will benefit from the cost reduction if and when he plays his next card.
