Sinister Motives Expert Multiplayer (1/3)

Here is our Spider-Man Aggression deck that was used to run through the Sinister Motives Campaign in Expert Mode (Core Expert and Standard Encounter Cards). My team mates played Ghost-Spider Protection and Spider-Woman Justice/Leadership.

I'm a real fan of Spider-Man Justice with a stun/confuse lock dynamic. However, having played Miles with Aggression there is no going back. Even in solo he can burst an enemy off the board very quickly all whilst controlling whether or not he allows the villain to scheme. (If you play solo swap Valkyrie for Ghost-Spider )

Initial focus should always be to use Meditation to get out economy cards such as Avengers Mansion and Helicarrier. However, getting an early play of Godslayer, Boot Camp, Martial Prowess or Combat Training should see you maximise that cards value going forward.

Double Life is a great card and can from Hero Form give you the Alter-ego opportunity to draw a card with Ganke Lee. However, this should not be the only reason to rotate down. Ideally you should have built up a 5 value attack by setting up Godslayer and Combat Training. This coupled with a well timed Surprise Attack should see in excess of 14 damage delivered minimum this phase.

Defense Mechanism and Power Within are on the face of it great cards that will see opportunities. However, we seemed to never find a good time to play these cards and didn't miss playing them.

Given Spider-Man's suite of events, Web-Shooter finds a new lease of life as it can ensure you have the right resource to play the cards you want at the time. So much so that it is worth considering returning Web-Shooter to your deck using Miles Morales's ability in alter-ego mode. Make sure you do not miss this when you play Double Life to rotate back into Hero form and ready for additional attacks.
