SCL Season 4 Round 4 - Hawkeye vs Mutagen Formula + Running Interference [Expert]
This is designed to be filled with cheap 1/2 cost allies with 2 health who can come in with 2 health, exhaust once and then block.
Stinger, Maria Hill, Ironheart and even Nick Fury are are all effectively 1 cost allies so the cost to bring out allies is incredibly cheap.
This is particularly important because it means I always have enough resources left over to comfortably spend on my arrows.
Inspiring Presence is played in here because it's a nice versatile way to deal 2 damage or thwart 2 when you have an ally out. The heal 1 is important here because most of the allies only have 2 health so Get Ready wouldn't be particularly effective since it would cause the allies to die and not be able to block.
Earth's Mightiest Heroes is here to make use of allies that are on 1 health but haven't yet needed to block and it lets you abuse Hawkeye's 3 atk and also allow you to play more arrows.
I ran a similar deck without Earth's Mightiest Heroes and had a moment of huge regret after Hawkeye got stunned and tapped during the villain phase and then had to face a really big board.
