Remy LeBeau doesn't stay in one place for long. One moment he's charming his way out of trouble, the next he's back in action, throwing charged cards and leaving the villain wondering what just happened.
The Art of the Switch
This deck is built around Gambit's ability to move between Hero and Alter-Ego forms, turning each transition into an opportunity.
Lay Down the Law is a key piece of the strategy, providing efficient threat removal whenever Gambit changes form. Combined with Breaking and Entering, it lets Remy keep schemes under control without sacrificing his flexibility.
Gambit's Guild Armor, Gambit's Staff, and Natural Agility help him stay in the fight, while Creole Charmer makes his Alter-Ego turns especially rewarding.
Confuse, Control, Exploit
Confuse is more than a defensive tool here. It's what allows Gambit to safely return to Alter-Ego and keep his engine running.
Creole Charmer and Dazzler help keep the villain confused, while Scare Tactic converts that control into direct damage.
With Swift Retribution, Gambit can also push damage while managing the threat it creates, giving him another way to pressure the villain without abandoning his Justice role.
Always One Step Ahead
Battlefield Benevolence provides additional flexibility, while Heroic Conditioning strengthens Gambit's ability to contribute throughout the game.
His charge counters remain valuable for enhancing his signature attack events, but the deck doesn't need to rely on them for every play. Instead, it combines efficient threat removal, confuse effects, and carefully timed form changes to keep the villain off balance.
Control the scheme. Confuse the villain. Change forms. Repeat.
By the time the villain figures out Remy's next move, he's already made it.
