Finally got the Wasp hero pack! Played the pre-con a few times... not great. I started thinking about how to make the most out of this new hero and...WOW! She's INCREDIBLE!

This deck beat every scenario on expert. Most of the time it was by a FREAKIN' LANDSLIDE. The deck really makes the best out of her abilities and feature nice little combos that make it satisfying. How does it work?

The GIRL power

The idea behind this deck is to make the best of Nadia Van Dyne's G.I.R.L. ability, her affinity for resources. It works. A LOT.

So, be ready to spend some time as Nadia, every other turn or so. When you revert back to alter-ego, use G.I.R.L. and re-shuffle 2 cards into your deck. My top choices: Nick Fury and Genius.

On the start of your next turn, re-shuffle damage / thwart cards. Top choices: Pinpoint Strike, Wasp Sting, Rapid Growth, Giant Help, Clear the Area, Lay Down the Law.

By constantly re-shuffling these key cards, you'll end up having very relevant choices with near every hand. By the end of your deck, you're putting cards that you're 100% sure to find... feels great!

Nick Fury

When you play FURY, USE THE DRAW 3 CARDS! Play FURY, draw 3, those cards pay for Pinpoint Strike. Fury thwarts for you, blocks for you, leaves play... next turn you end up in alter-ego and re-shuffle him back... When you get this deal 3 times as you cycle through your deck, the villain starts crying.

TINY

Tiny form is your top choice here, Pinpoint Strike gets overkill, so you can get rid of minions and still deal damage to the villain. Also, don't forget 'small but mighty"... Ultron had regrets putting so many minions in my way!

But... what about threaths?

Worried about losing to threaths? Look at the list. With so many cards, you can play Lay Down the Law at its best. Most of the time Clear the Area will give you that extra card, and you also have Giant Help and Rapid Growth should you need it.

Allies such as Spider-Man, Agent Coulson, cards like Concussive Blow and Counterintelligence also help if you need to revert to alter-ego and are worried about scheming.

Cool little combos

THINK before you play. Lots of cards in here will reward you for doing things a certain way. For example:

One cool side scheme trick: with Skilled Investigator in play, flip to TINY, THW 1 on the side scheme, pay for Clear the Area with Pym Particles... clearing the side scheme, drawing 3 cards in the process, and triggering 'small but mighty'.

DO NOT underestimate the value of drawing with those cards, they help you cycle your deck and find your MVPs.

OTHERS

  • Threw in some more DMG in the form of Stealth Strike, also a , helps with both THW and minions;

  • Endurance because I feel like she needs it, unless you spend your time in GIANT form to defend, which is bad, preventing you from doing your thing in TINY form. Down Time, really useful because she has only 3 REC, which means you'd have to recover twice from 1 big attack, which is quite problematic.

  • Assess the situation to get bigger hand turns, also a , and Avengers Mansion and Quincarrier/Helicarrier to support your economy too. With both carriers out, she's INSANE!

End word

Wasp turns out to be an incredibly fun and efficient hero, with this deck she beats the crap out of villains!

Have fun!
