Black Panther - Intense retaliation

Attacking the Black Panther is a dangerous proposition. This deck is built to make the villain regret every attempt.

T'Challa's Wakandan upgrades and Wakanda Forever! remain the heart of the deck, but Protection gives him an entirely different way to fight: the villain phase becomes another opportunity to deal damage.

Cuts Both Ways gives T'Challa retaliate without requiring him to exhaust for a basic defense. Side Step prevents damage while striking back, while Energy Barrier, Electrostatic Armor, Preemptive Strike, Counter-Punch and Powerful Punch provide even more ways to punish enemy attacks.

This allows Black Panther to remain ready while still interacting heavily during the villain phase. When his own turn begins, he is free to attack, thwart, or unleash Wakanda Forever! instead of recovering from defending.

Change of Fortune rewards the deck for going one step further. Defeat an enemy during the villain phase and the counterattack becomes card advantage, drawing 2 cards for the next assault.

Shuri helps assemble T'Challa's technology, Vibranium provides his exceptional economy, and The Golden City makes returning to alter-ego incredibly rewarding when the opportunity presents itself.

There are no disposable allies standing between T'Challa and his enemies. He doesn't need them.
