The actual deck included Miles Morales instead of Spiderman and Ironheart instead of Maria Hill, but the site wouldn't let me publish with new cards.

maria hill is way better than iron heart (maria draws everyone a card and doesn't require to be played from hand not to mention 1 more thwart) and i would drop spider-man for coulson so you can constantly keep recycling your rapid responses.

How many rounds for you for this deck? I'm trying to use Justice Ant-Man for the challenge and it's 14-15 rounds to leave a pretty clear board. That's 3-4x as long as my games last round.

@Reins_VengardI agree that Maria Hill is better. Also there is no make the call in the deck so the play from hand distinction doesn't really matter. The problem is including a copy of her means I would need to include another justice card. To me it's not worth the trade-off. The inclusion of Coulson over Miles is interesting (which would fix the maria problem). The problem is that I would only be playing him for the rapid response, because thwarting power isn't very valuable in this round of league play. Then I'd still have to play rapid response. It seems like a lot of set up and the pay off is somewhat conditional. Compare that to Miles Morales who comes in with 4 attack and then we ready him and we are getting 8 damage and a block immediately. I think I still like Miles, but I wouldn't be mad at Coulson.

@josserooI think this deck will consistently hit around 7 rounds given it's piloted well. The exclusion of the standard encounter set means the games will have less variability in general, and the deck is constructed for low variability. Occasionally you might get six-round if things go really well, 8 rounds if things don't go well. I personally went 7, 6, 7 rounds in my matches.

@ToneeTales The Agent Coulson and Rapid Response combo is meant to be one that uses Coulson as a chump blocker and cycles him back to the board every time he dies, which then allows you to grab Rapid Response again.

@josserooFor sure. It's a legit combo. The problem is just in the league match you might go through your deck 1.5 times. Let's say I put Coulson and Rapid Response into play that is 6 resources (1 card + 5 resources). In an ideal situation that pay's off immediately because I get to bring back Goliath or Captain Marvel. In another situation I spend my whole turn setting up. I prefer the less conditional use of Miles in this case, I'm likely getting 8 damage and a blocker immediately (which is above the curve to win in 7 turns). Again, I don't think you'd be much worse off subbing Coulson for Mile, but in this league match in particular, I don't think you'd be much better. I think Miles offers more consistency and immediate benefit which are two things I value in league play.

Coulson gives you better synergy with Rapid Response

Miles gives you better synergy with get ready and inspiring presence

@ToneeTales I was forgetting how efficiently you were getting through this match and fully agree that the above curve damage from Miles.

What about going with a third Inspiring Presence instead of the second Rapid Response?
