Echo's hero kit was screaming for the 'Pool aspect!
-
Start almost every hero turn with a 3 Damage using Mulligan and Echo's Katana.
-
Heal for 3 - 6 Points using The Rez without ever having to recover using Pool's high cost events.
-
Set up end of game by having Da Bomb attack for at least 16 (10 plus Katana's 6) and a follow up next turn for another 16.
-
Use your Healing Factor to stay in Hero form so you can use your Mulligan more often. Have Break Time when needed.
-
By setting up Build Support to get your Quincarrier, use Stick-To-Itiveness almost every turn.
-
With Endurance and your healing, your Resources are closer to 3 resources than 2.
-
Add Sidearm so you can use Echo's Katana with Laser Swords so you can take advantage of bad things for your attacks. Especially if you play Bob, Agent of Hydra or Headpool.
-
use Plot Convenience so you can always have a Mulligan and set up your Da Bomb and 'Pool Inspection.
-
Use Muscle Memory to add a Mulligan to your hand at the start of a turn if you don't have one readily available. (Since you are Mulliganing almost every turn and you are paring down your card as you add upgrades, this should be easy with 3 of them)
-
This is your strategy. Get Echo's Katana ASAP. If Echo's Katana is not played yet, then Mulligan to get it, even if you don't get the damage. Once you have Echo's Katana, unless you have a card you really need, you should still Mulligan plus Echo's Katana for the 3 damage. Because it's basically free 3 damage to hurt minions or the villian. Your next hand will probalby be fine since you have a million events. Compared to other EchoPool decks I saw, they focused more on allies and didn't have enough event cards. You always need events because Echo's cards demand it (Choreography and Study the Tape.
-
There's another strategy where once you are set up, to stay in hero form and once you have Cutupper tucked, use Muscle Memory to put it back in your hand and rinse/repeat. The villain will never be able to activate because you do this every turn. Because you are doing 5 stun plus 3 Katana damage, so 8 a turn. I think the Mulligan strategy is more Deadpooly and more fun.
-
You should have more than enough resources. For fun end your turns on Live Dangerously, get 8 or 9 cards, plus the extra card draw from Avengers Mansion, and Da Bomb's away!!!
