The combo
Like my previously published deck, this deck improves the odds of successfully cheating in a 3-4 cost X-Men ally with Mutant Protectors and then keeping them around with Stronger Together. If Hangar Bay is in play, then the ally is good to go for the next round!
Early game
Prioritize upgrades and supports. This thins your deck (more on this later). Priority are Resource generators, followed by your DEF upgrades (besides Innate Reflexes, which you should play turn 1). Hangar Bay isn't really that big of a priority, but it is nice once you get rolling. Nightcrawler to prevent damage in the meantime if you have him. Magik has incredible card advantage being able to play the top card of her deck twice per round and reduce the cost, so setup should actually be easier/faster than with the Rogue deck, as well.
Consistency
Magik is, bar none, the best hero for achieving this. With a possible hand size of 7 in hero form thanks to Symbiote Suit and The Sorcerer Supreme and the ability to manipulate the top of your deck with Limbo so that it functions like an 8th card, the likelihood of pulling the combo off increases drastically! Remember, with Limbo you can swap a Mutant Protectors or Stronger Together in your hand for an ally on top of the deck to enable the combo (Mutant Protectors cannot put into play the ally on top of your deck). With all your upgrades and supports on the board, you have a nearly 50% chance of making the combo once your deck resets.
