With her pack of dogs and posse of ladies at her side, Domino slays!

Welcome to an ally-centric Aggression deck where it's all about boosting your goodest girl and baddest bitch: Cosmo!!! (Yes, we're going with MCU Cosmo to stay on theme.) Because Domino can manipulate the top of her deck, we can ensure that our dear sweet Cosmo never takes any damage.

I really liked the original deck that this was derived from, but I always play multiplayer so things like having a "balanced" deck is less important to me. We're the Aggression player here so we're going all in on attack and leave the thwarting for someone else to deal with! (Though Domino does have some good thwart events so in a pinch we can still provide an assist.)

Quick Overview

  • Lots of upgrades to boost Cosmo. Get her down quick and attach those ATK upgrades!
  • Your Posse of allies to help block and deal damage. White Fox in particular will be an amazing ally to send to the top of deck for Cosmo's interrupt to reveal.
  • Lots of wild resources and Sharpshooter to boost Domino's Pistol because Domino can't leave ALL the attacking to her allies.

Side note: If you're really married to the idea of a tidy 40, feel free to take out Build Support or Front Organization. These cards are more fail safes rather than essential to the deck.

Breakdown

Essentials for your first deck passthrough:

  • Cosmo (so you can start attaching upgrades)
  • Pip the Pug (to give you another way to manipulate the top of your deck)
  • The Painted Lady (to prevent important cards like Cosmo or her upgrades from being discarded)

Basic idea of this deck is that you want to use Domino's identity abilities and Pip the Pug to always know what's sitting on top of your deck before Cosmo attacks so you can ensure she never takes any consequential damage. With all 3 attachments and Boot Camp down, Cosmo gets 7 ATK with piercing and ranged. With the help of Marked, she gets overkill too. This deck is all about top deck manipulation, so being mindful of your sequencing is super important to ensuring your success! But as long as you got the top 3 cards down in during your first deck passthrough (even if it means discarding Domino's other upgrades), you'll be set up for success for the rest of the game.

While Cosmo is holding it down, Domino has a plethora of preventative measures against boosts and encounter cards so that our dog stays harm free. Our Posse of friends are also here to back him up to be sacrifices helpful hands in case the villain is keen on taking out your allies.

Introducing... our Posse of Ladies
This Posse of allies are here to help with blocking and chipping away at villains and minions alike. And with The Posse, they can do it all again in one turn.

  • White Fox: your other favorite canine! Use Pip the Pug to dig her up and bring her to the top of the deck. Attacking with Cosmo while she's still up there will discard her and immediately put her into play. With Boot Camp, she then can attack for 2 and is the perfect pick for blocking since you can just dig her back up again.
  • Atlas Bear: sometimes you hit your obligation or your nemesis and Domino's identity abilities are out of commission. With Atlas Bear on the table, you can exhaust her to take a peak at what's on the top of your deck for free without damaging her.
  • Diamondback: when you have a horde of tough minions at your door, Diamond is an easy solution to clear all those tough status cards in one go. She's like Squirrel Girl except better!
  • Outlaw: just a great blocker and attacker. Enough said.

And then there's Lockjaw...
If you have a Protection player, you might not need the extra blockers. So you might find yourself constantly maxed out on allies with Cosmo and 2 Posse allies. How does poor old Lockjaw fit into the equation (other than thematically being a dog). Well, worry not, dog-lovers, Lockjaw has his place in the build other than just being a thematic ally. With Domino's deck sometimes you find yourself with a hand full of resources and nothing left to spend it out. Worry not, because look no further than your trash (discard pile) because you likely thrown out Lockjaw earlier. Remember, allies can be discarded and replaced if you exceed the ally limit. And White Fox is always disposable (sorry, girly pop, no hard feelings). So don't be afraid to replace her with Lockjaw when given the chance to deal a little extra damage (or thwart) that turn. With good sequencing you could even bring her back the same turn to replace Lockjaw (by using the Pip + Cosmo combo to bring her back in play afterwards) if you really want to get another attack (or thwart) in.

And that's really all there is to it!
This deck is rife with ways to generate resources so you shouldn't have a hard time getting upgrades down, and once you do have your board set up, all those resources can go towards allies and events. Domino cycles through her deck VERY quickly because she's constantly discarding, so no need to be stingy about using cards for resources in the early game. You are also probably going to be the go-to person for helping clear villain attachments since most of her deck is made of wild resources.

Other Considerations

Deck Weaknesses

  • Finding Cosmo early. It's going to be a rough start if you can't find her right away so mulligan to get closer and don't hold cards unless they are Pip the Pug or The Painted Lady. Discard cards until you find her and then cycle through your deck as quickly as possible to get her all suited up.
  • Losing Cosmo. Losing Cosmo mid-game is probably the worse thing that can happen. Front Organization can help with treacheries that specifically target allies. And if you have allies up, it can help with indirect damage. But if it worst case scenario does happen, the best thing you can do is simply cycle through your deck again. Thankfully, Domino's Posse and Domino's Pistol paired with Sharpshooter should be able to keep any minions at bay until your best girl is back up to fighting form.

Modifications for Better Multiplayer Synergies

  • If you're running full mutants at the table, think of adding X-Mansion. Any mutant flipped down can benefit from it. Throw in Children of the Atom into the mix and you can guarantee pretty much every mutant can benefit from this anytime someone flips down.
  • If no one else's deck already have these side schemes, consider adding Superpower Training or Locked and Loaded. But make sure to choose whichever one works better for your table's comp.
  • If you have a Leadership player, see if you can coerce them into adding Call for Backup into their deck if it's not already there. Even if you find Cosmo before the scheme is defeated, using it to put down Diamondback or Outlaw can be massively helpful.
  • If you happen to have a Protection player with a Champion identity, having Pinpoint in play in crucial moments to prevent Cosmo going into the discard could be extremely helpful! (I know it's a pretty niche ask, but hey if it's possibly why not?)

Note: I tuned this deck months ago and have run it in so many multiplayer scenarios. Mostly standard, but expert too. It's just a really fun deck though it can be a bit tough to pilot if you are a beginner player because of all the sequencing. Even if you don't give this deck a try, I hope you try out any Domino deck out there because her kit is SO fun. Hope you have a fantastic day!
