While I was playing Echo and pulling Shadows of the Past for the 100th time, I realised her nemesis side scheme isn't that bad besides the "Kingpin cannot take damage" text. I then noticed that he doesn't have the Elite trait, so is a valid target for Show of Empathy!
I still need to test out this deck to see how it performs, but the idea is to get Show of Empathy on the table, then get Kingpin and start redeeming him.
A fun interaction is that if his side scheme Master Manipulator comes out, you would find him and engage him again, but he would keep the Redemption attachment so come back to your side (at least this is my understanding of the rules under the "Find" section). Then, with his side scheme out, he cannot take damage so can either activate endlessly, or block for you forever!
