Bleed, Lead, Succeed

Main Idea

This deck prioritizes on getting [Elektra](/card/60007) quickly into play and voltron-ing her. If you get each Upgrade onto her, she is a 2 THW, 4 ATK ally. Since she doesn't take consequential damage when you're in Hero form, her survivability is essentially guaranteed; therefore, [Sidekick](/card/45015) is not a high priority upgrade. BONUS: You can attach a second copy of ([Clarity of Purpose](/card/31029)) so that she can also serve as a cheap resource generator. If you do so, then [Sidekick](/card/45015)'s priority increases.

Mini-side package

I like playing this side package: - [Maria Hill](/card/01067) - [White Tiger](/card/21013) - [Med Lab](/card/38028) These allies provide good value: card draw, one good activation, and a chump. If you don't need the chump block, then you can activate them a second time and put them in the [Med Lab](/card/38028), waiting to generate value on turns when your hand isn’t offering anything great. Note: With a 5‑card hand in Hero form, you can flip down to Alter‑Ego, play Suit Up to tutor Maria Hill and Clarity of Purpose, and still have the resources to play both cards.

Bleed: Staying alive

Daredevil will be taking a lot of damage (hence the "Bleed" part in the deck title"). It's common to take 3-4 damage (sometimes more) in a turn: - Each Clarity of Purpose deals 1 damage - The Man Without Fear deals 1 damage - Each Elektra activations will deal 1 damage Fortunately, you have [Sister Maggie](/card/60016) and [Down Time](/card/05033) to get him to a 8 REC, and you can ready up using [The Man Without Fear](/card/60018).

Lead: Side-by-side

Once Elektra is at her max of 4 ATK, if you choose the +1 THW/ATK option of [Side-by-Side](/card/45016), it's essentially 3ER for 8 damage (3 from Daredevil and 5 from Elektra). That's [Swinging Web Kick](/card/01005), which you can split into 2 instances of damage either onto the villain or to help handle minions. That's worth recurring, so I like having two copies of [Leadership Training](/card/25034) to shuffle [Side-by-Side](/card/45016) back into my deck so that I can play them more often.

Upcoming changes

In Luke Cage's pack, we'll be getting Righteous Purpose, which gives characters you control that have exactly 1hp a bonus +2 THW and ATK. That's something that I'll be seriously considering so that Elektra can be a 4 THW, 6 ATK ally that doesn't take consequential damage (while you're in Hero form). I think that the Leadership Valkyrie ally may be worth a consideration, as an insurance that Elektra doesn't get defeated, especially at only 1hp with Righteous Purpose in play. I could equally be convinced that it may oftentimes be unnecessary because Suit Up allows you to get Elektra and Inspired back easily.

Dance with the devil

I'm uncertain about the power level of [Dance with the Devil](/card/60031). It doesn't impress me because of the amplify icon, so I don't have it in this list. If my assessment is wrong or you're curious to try it yourself, feel free to add it.
