In alter-ego, Maya can shuffle an aspect or basic event back into her deck with Choreography. Then when the villain attempts to scheme, she pops up Ready for a Fight, grabbing an event from her deck with Practice Makes Perfect then plays it to tuck for later using Watch and Learn.

Having one of the strongest precon decks to come along in some time, the DEF buff/Ronin/In Harm's Way build is great. This deck will explore other options as Ronin makes its way through the new hotness in multiplayer and everyone player wants to give it a whirl on every hero.

Tucking situational events is an extremely cool hero ability. Being able to use Photographic reflexes fairly reliably to tutor an event when the board state calls for it is low-key powerful but more just satisfyingly fun. In all aspects those most appealing to me are the Alliance events, needing certain allies in play. Gunboat Diplomacy in Justice is the strongest, but since Echo wants Ready for a Fight here that means either Serve and Protect or Stand Together.

Let's Stand Together against The Kingpin

Brother Voodoo is a solid Avenger choice since he helps find events that Echo wants to play then tuck. Blade is the best low-cost addition to the Avenger lineup. Patriot is able to acquire tough status cards and still be ready to exhaust for Stand Together.

As for Guardians, the options are limited since Echo is not a Guardian herself. Starhawk is the obvious inexpensive option, plus he's relatively easy to bring back to hand to return to play. Moondragon is a fun situational ally to keep on the table until wanting to trigger her ability to turn a minion against the villain.

With these allies in play to not only prevent incoming damage but turn it back on the enemy, Taunt and Get Behind Me! can be tucked under Echo to either draw cards in the hero phase or cancel a nasty treachery in the villain phase.

The last bits are the usual suspects upgrades and supports: Defensive Conditioning for +1 DEF and more HP, Hidden Base for a tough when flipping up from alter-ego, Dr. Sinclair + Down Time to recover and remove status cards. Enhanced Physique holds strength resources to play Ready for a Fight.
