The Great Rube Goldberg Bullseye Removal Machine! (or Matt Murdock: Attorney of S.H.I.E.L.D.!)
This is a supremely silly and convoluted one-trick multi-chain combo deck. The point is not to win, the point is to survive long enough to control and remove Bullseye without allowing the rest of your nemesis set to enter the game, while setting off a bunch of card abilities.
Lemme explain.
You need to set up your little Rube Goldberg machine first, and then lead your Bullseye mouse right into the trap. We begin with controlling the encounter deck, as an untimely Shadow of the Past can knock the whole thing down. For this, we have Manifold find Going Undercover. We use Blindfold and Global Logistics with Field Agent, Surveillance Team, or other S.H.I.E.L.D. cards to manipulate the encounter deck to find Shadow of the Past, then obliterate it with Going Undercover.
Meanwhile we build the machine by playing these components:
You might be seeing where I'm going with this by now. However this is only the base foundation, true believers. Now we add a little hot sauce, just to make it sting a bit:
As all this is being assembled, should you come across Face the Past. Hold onto it. It's the detonator to this combo bombo.
There's a bunch of cards here to help you get things set up. With Daredevil, you could do much of it in alter-ego to avoid getting smashed up by the villain, using his Sense deck and your allies to help thwart away threat and remove difficult minions as you go. I'm not saying you can make this work every time. I'm saying that when it does work, it's rather satisfying in a very silly way.
Once everything is ready to go, change to hero form and begin:
Daredevil attacks/thwarts, whichever you prefer.
Play Face the Past to reveal Bullseye. Choose to have him attack you.
This will trigger Invisibility Gear. Bullseye looks around, thinking he coulda swore he saw Daredevil right here. Oh well, he trots off to scheme.
Bullseye meets up with what he thinks is his scheme contact, but it's really a S.H.I.E.L.D. Informant! Remove 1 threat from the main scheme.
Having received intel on the villain's scheme, Quake removes her photostatic veil and gives Bullseye a black eye for being such a jerkface!
Bullseye is shocked to discover the whole thing was a Sting Operation set up by Daredevil and S.H.I.E.L.D., and he is carted off to the encounter discard pile.
Finally, Daredevil casts aside the Invisibility Gear and reappears having Faced the Past. He readies and you draw 3 cards.
At this point you can stop playing and sit back, appreciating the nonsense that just happened. Or keep playing in spite of the nonsense. Don't let me tell you what to do next.
Prism Dust will confuse Bullseye and break the chain, stopping Informant, Quake, and Sting Operation from resolving. The thought of Bullseye showing up and being showered in an explosion of prism confetti and party horns is likewise amusing to me, though.
That's it. You can stop reading now. There's no Easter eggs or post-description blurbs waiting for you down here. Just the regular, normal comment section. :-)
