A generic Peter Parker/Spider-Man deck leverages his phenomenal base defense (3 DEF) and high-value signature kit to create an unyielding Protection control engine. Because Spider-Man’s passive ability allows you to draw a card whenever the villain initiates an attack against you, the deck focuses on keeping him in Hero form indefinitely. By packing the deck with cheap defense events like Desperate Defense or Never Back Down, you can routinely defend, take zero damage to trigger Unflappable for bonus card draw, and immediately ready up to counter-attack. Combined with his native Backflip events to completely negate massive boss attacks and Aunt May to heal massive chunks of health if you ever do need to flip to alter-ego, this deck essentially forces the villain to exhaust their resources while Spider-Man slowly but surely chips away at their health pool.
