In the 2014-2015 Marvel comic series Spider-Man and the X-Men, after Wolverine's death, Peter Parker accepts his friend's final request: to act as the guidance counselor and teacher to a "Special Class" at the Jean Grey School for Higher Learning.

Peter Parker moves in to the X-Mansion!

In alter-ego, he can use this support to heal X-Men allies in play. His Scientist trait gives him an additional mental resource to put X-Men into play. Use Meditation to discount the cost. Coupled with The Danger Room, these X-Men are automatically boosted by Spidey's tutelage.

So far, these are all basic cards. There are training upgrades in all major aspects (sorry 'Pool). This deck will lock in on Justice as, eventually, Spider-Man pops in with a Swinging Web Kick to crush the villain. In the meantime, the crew of X-Men will mostly manage threat.

Husk has a built-in ability to heal and stay in play, using the mental resource that Peter Parker can inherently produce, or from exhausting Ingenuity. This frees up the X-Mansion to focus on healing other allies. Triage helps in this regard, too.

Professor X can confuse the villain. Banshee can confuse a minion. Dazzler can confuse either.

Forge helps find Danger Room and/or X-Mansion.

From the Command Center, deal damage when an ally clears a side scheme. With Followed attached, deal damage or, with Chance Encounter attached, bring an X-Men ally back to hand from deck or discard.

In the end game, clear Generation X to find a Swinging Web Kick, the OG finisher.
