Con of Heros 26 - She’s the Boss - Black Cat Voltron

Simple play. Let Black Cat rain punches.

Goal:

Buff up Black Cat (and Yondu) and let it rip. They both have no consequential damage on their attack and so once they are in play, they can stick around. Use sidearm and inspired to buff their attack stats and use command team and get ready to ready up and swing again. Sidekick buffs Black Cat’s stats even more.

Set-Up:

This deck leverages a combo from a WebWarriorFanatic deck to find what you need asap. Use the three copies of Suit Up to find Moon Girl and Clarity of Purpose. If you already have Ingenuity in play, you can flip down to alter ego and pay three mental resources for Moon Girl without discarding a card and draw three cards. With so many supports and upgrades on the table you will pull another Suit Up so you can recycle Moon Girl and run the combo again. Wicked fun.

Player Count: I’ve run it solo and managed but thwarting is a liability for sure and so this deck thrives in multiplayer when you have a justice player with you.

EDIT: I learned a TON at the Con of Heros by witnessing other people's decks in action. This deck was a ton of fun to pilot, but voltron-ing two allies takes time. if I wanted to keep tinkering with it, I might drop Yondu and some of the 2 of cards (e.g. Sidearm, Inspired) and replace them with a copy of Honorary Avenger, Power Gloves and Sky Cycle to double-down and buff Black Cat's stats even more.
