I am excited to be attending Con of Heroes this year for the first time, and I figured I'd post my deck lists for what I am bringing. This is the first deck I have locked in. (1/8)

The goal of this Aggression deck is simple: Give that dog a gun.

Gameplan: The first time through the deck you are focusing on 3 things:

  1. Get a sticky ally into play (Cosmo + Bug, Cosmo is better since he is guaranteed no consequential damage due to your hero text box. Bug is okay but kind of locks you into attacking, which isn't always the best)
  2. Equip said ally with some weapons (Sidearm = Energy Spear, priority should be based on whether or not your scenario has more tough status cards or have villains with retaliate.)
  3. Get setup yourself with high priority on the resource supports and a 3rd weapon (Soulsword, Hand Cannon )

The second time through the deck is a little simpler:

  1. Play Firepower

This simple plan will obliterate enemies.

In my experience, the speed at which this deck can get setup and start blasting is very quick. You have a bunch of amazing tools to dig through your deck:

Firepower is incredible damage for 2 ER. Warrior Skills makes this damage even more insane. You clear out minions with ease, and you have insane Villain damage. You just need a little bit of time to get there.

Because there are only a few allies I want to block with, I do tend to find myself defending quite a bit so I do not flip down as much. This deck really wants to be paired with a deck that has strong thwarting abilities, and a deck that wants to defend a lot is a good boost too (either a Falcon or Kitty Pride maximum defense situation or an ally swarm chump blocking for us)

I don't tend to play on super high difficulties, so I have not taken this into a ton of the harder villains, but I have played several games against expert villains from the Civil War box and had a fun time. Those scenarios have a lot of minions, so Firepower can really shine through in it's ability to wipe out a field.

I may be focusing on Firepower, but Cosmo is also a Minion killer once he's setup. Ranged + Piercing is a lethal combination and 4 attack is very solid.

3 Resourceful is nice because you can play them for free of the top of your deck to bank a resource for another turn (with your hero abiltiy) PLUS they give you 3 more resource icons for your Hero specific upgrades abilities.
