Warpath of Chaos

Scarlet Witch, the Sorcerer Supreme, in Spiritual Meditation within Avengers Mansion, now has many options to use against villains, their minions, and their schemes.

Seems a shame to have these powerful Hero Action events limited to only the player phase. Enter Warpath.

After defending, Warpath allows Scarlet Witch to play any of the above hero events in the villain phase, too. Prevent damage to him by discarding a Magic Shield. Then, using Hangar Bay, he might defend again and allow a second event to be played, perhaps Chaos Magic to put another ally into play from hand. Playing Hope Summers this way can bring Hex Bolt from the deck.

Otherwise, the zero cost Earth's Mightiest Heroes can ready up another ally to defend again. This allows Jocasta to actually have additional value while holding Shield Spell for a critical moment. With Honorary Avenger, both Charlie-27 and Rockslide could retaliate multiple times per turn. Paired with Ops Room they remove threat, too.

Generate resources for these events with Quincarrier or the Bloodgem. Deft Focus is an action and therefore cannot be used in the villain phase, so Bloodgem was chosen despite it's negative consequence. Heal damage from Scarlet Witch or any ally via Med Team.
