Deck showcase versus Expert Captain America with Kraven the Hunter & Beasty Boys

Chat and I created this wacky deck in my last livestream where we made a tier list ranking every basic ally in Marvel Champions. In that tier list, the Spider-Ham ally ended up being one of the worst allies in the game...and this deck is all about making him viable!

Bird Buffs Pig

Spider-Ham has the advantage to never take consequential damage, but everytime he activates, he damages himself based on the number of boost icons of the top card of the encounter deck that he discards. This RNG factor means if he discards a 3 boost encounter card, he kills himself in one-shot...but fortunately, Falcon can always see the top card of the encounter deck in the player phase! This lets Spider-Ham activate only when he knows he's not taking any damage back. In this build, we buff Spider-Ham with Inspired, Sidearm, Honorary Avenger, and Sky Cycle so he can ready and activate twice in a turn.

Covering High Boosts and Low Boosts

One of the most frustrating things about playing Falcon is he usually wants to see high boost icon cards to get more value from his identity-specific cards so when he constantly sees 0 boost cards, his ability to impact the board is diminished. With this wacky deck, Spider-Ham wants the low boost icon cards, so he can activate and discard those while Falcon can take advantage of triggering and discarding the high boost cards. It's the perfect team!
