Magneto is my favorite hero and I love creating thematic decks, so this is an evolving aggression deck utilizing weapons to cause damage in a way that feels like Magneto is using his powers.
Thematically this deck feels like Magneto is taking weapons apart and causing damage with the metal using his magnetic powers (with Firepower, Fusillade, and Mean Swing, and a little imagination...haha) more so than using the weapons as intended. This deck makes me think of the time in the animated series when sentinels attack Magneto while he was kidnapping Senator Kelly and they are a new model of sentinels made of plastic. Magneto replied "This entire ship is my weapon" and begins to use the parts of the ship as improvised missiles to destroy the sentinels.
I tried to include some ways to recur the main aggression/attack events while also trying to have a supply of weapons on the board to be targets for those events. Plus flipping down with Magneto allows you to shuffle those events back into your deck if you time your flips right.
Aggressive Conditioning and Fluid Motion are included because Magneto can ready himself easily and potentially get 2 basic attacks (potential of up to 12 damage with overkill in one basic attack when set up, then 2 more with Jarnbjorn) in each hero phase, with the thought of hopefully playing at least one of the main events per turn, possibly more when set up mid/late-game.
I'm hoping that Aggressive Conditioning with the +3 hit points and Magnetic Bubble add to the survivability until this deck is fully up and running.
I haven't play tested this deck too much yet, so it will probably be edited as I play more.
I'm open to any advise/comments/thoughts anyone has on the deck!
