nock: fit (an arrow) to the bowstring ready for shooting.

This is a build-out heavy Protection deck. It requires frequent going to alter-ego. If you don't like playing that way, stop reading now and thanks for stopping by.

Now, the object is to have the supports in play to maximize Clint Barton's time in AE to recover. Build Support and Evaluate Threat are on hand to expedite this process. The Quincarrier provides specific required resources for Dr. Sinclair, Ready for a Fight, and What Doesn't Kill Me. While in AE, shuffle What Doesn't Kill Me back into the deck with Defensive Training. Then flip up with a tough status card from Hidden Base.

What Doesn't Kill Me readies Hawkeye to be able to exhaust and ready his bow to play two arrows in the same turn. Directed Force adds a little extra juice on occasion since the bow grants ranged to all arrows events. Indomitable allows Hawkeye to defend and still be ready for the hero phase.

The ally roster has three functions: find an arrow, find upgrades, defend. Brother Voodoo searches for an arrow event. Yellow Jacket tutors upgrades, early game Quiver and Expert Marksman, later Indomitable and Ready for a Fight. Victor Mancha syncs with Hangar Bay and Ops Room: defend for 2 (reduced by one with his ability and reduced again with Ops Room), remove a threat (Ops Room), ready (Hangar Bay), then defend/thwart again. Mockingbird can also do this plus return to hand for a third block.
