This deck was made specifically for Wade to buddy up with Web Warrior Fanatic's I Love Spider-Man Cable deck (the initial version, I don't have all the cards for the updated one, but I did throw in a Frenemies), letting Deadpool annoy the villain while Cable gets his table set up.
How the game begins depends on what Cable's starting side scheme is... unless he's being a selfish jerk and starts with Technovirus Purge. But here's the combo setup for Deadpool:
Build Support - Chimichanga Truck
Call for Backup - Pick whoever works best against the Villain, but it's nice to have Psylocke out to confuse before flipping down to Alter Ego.
Establish Perimeter - Weird choice for a starting scheme but alright.
Lock and Load - Deadpool's Katana if the Villain needs a lot of piercing, otherwise go for a safer Hand Cannon
Superpower Training - Dealer's choice on this one. I don't have anything particular in mind for Armed to the Teeth, so go with a Deadpool's Katana.
Take Out the Guards - The Cable Player is doing it wrong.
Technovirus Purge - Selfish Jerk confirmed.
This isn't a 'Pool deck, so don't over rely on Wade's Regeneratin' Degenerate, acceleration tokens are not our friends, and we don't want to have an embarrassing Alter Ego death. That's why there's a chunk of cards that let you use your weapons without overly hurting yourself, and you can still exhaust Hand Cannon even if you're out of ammo. Go ahead and flip down to Alter Ego around the 3hp point, and really abuse Bodyslide if you can swing it.
Lastly, I know it's tempting to play the Maximum Venom Fire combo, but don't play Symbiote Suit too early, that extra encounter card is going to slow things down a lot. Maybe even discard it and wait for your second deck-up before playing it.
This team-up was tested on NeXt Evolution and got through it without a single loss.
