I'm new to deck building. I am a relatively new player, starting the Thanos campaign Standard I with a group of 3. My main idea here was to stick to Guardian and Mystic cards as much as possible. For cards outside of that theme, I tried to only pick "neutral" cards, not those associated heavily with a particular Marvel property. If you have suggestions that stick with the theme, let me know.
