The best offense is a good defense

Silk has a fantastic way to defend for high numbers and a way to get ready when need be. Also, combining Spider-Man (Peter Parker) and Scarlet Spider, you can use Peter's effect up to 8 times to ready up Silk and utilize Scarlet Spider's effect to take Peter's consequential damage for him. Having Spider-Man (Otto) in the deck to ready up Unflappable and use a Taunt to get a 4 card draw out of it. Finally, with the chance of having 11 defense for an attack, use a Stop Hitting Yourself to slap a minion or villain with that defensive number as damage.
