Suppressing Air Cover

I've been intrigued by Air Cover since I saw it previewed and have been looking for a good place to use it outside of a Cyclops deck. I've found a nice setup here. With enough minions and air cover, you can keep cutting a bloody swath of destruction.

This deck is all about making basic attacks. In fact, there are no attack events in the deck at all. You will have to do all of your damage with the ATK stat of X-23 and her allies. Which is hardly a problem for her. She has loads of ways to boost her damage and to ready so that she can do it all over again.

Since much of what X-23 does to accomplish all of these attacks causes her damage, she will want to get Air Cover into play so that, as allies enter play, she can set them up using Suppressing Fire to provide her healing when she inevitably dispatches them. I also recommend getting Pain Tolerance into play as early as possible to gain further healing.

You are going to want to take this deck up against villains with a regular supply of minions to benefit from all your bonuses. I decided against including minion summoning cards so that the deck did not become hyper-focused on taking out minions and ignore being able tackle the villain. This deck is also extremely resource-efficient, with only 9 cards costing more than 1 resource, one of those being a spare Combat Training and the other a Helicarrier.

40 card deck purists can easily cut #Shark-Girl, Weapon X, Energy Spear or a copy of Combat Training or Attack Training to trim it down. Likewise, if you are playing this deck solo, you might want to cut a couple of those same cards to make some room for a couple of Smash the Problem cards to let you have a little more thwarting.
