Adam Warlock - What if...I don't have Sorcerer Supreme?

I just got into the game, so alas, I do not have The Sorcerer Supreme.

So, my thought to get the extra card in hand - all Guardians (except Pip) and Knowhere.

I know this isn't optimal, but I just wanted to see if I could get around the restriction of not having that upgrade.
