This deck is about upgrading Hulk or Wolverine until they can unleash massive damage with Team Strike.

This is a deck with two main victory conditions:

(1) Turn Blade and Hulk into honorary X-Men and upgrade them, then use Team Strike to apply all of their upgraded attack in one hit. OR

(2) Play Wolverine with Colossus and upgrade them. Then you can use Fastball Special or Team Strike. (Wolverine is a bit harder to keep in play than Blade and Hulk).

You will have to rely on Magik's hero cards or Professor X for reliable thwart.

I did a midnight suns deck some time ago with Magik but went a different route. Looks fun and congrats on the first deck!

Are you allowed to play Fastball Special if your identity isn't one of the two listed characters? I thought I read something about that being a requirement for the team-up carda.

Ah, @Footballcoach you're right. I didn't catch that. I might remove it altogether or replace it with a basic spell or attack spell. The deck would definitely benefit from cutting a few cards, and I'm not convinced Gambit is the best ally option either. I'm still tweaking this one as I play it.

@Dane-O-Myte this is still a good deck, and a fun deck. I'm not happy to be right... I love the thematic idea of team-up cards, but I wish they were more relevant/playable.

It's in my marvel champions secret dream diary to have a collection of 40 unique team-up cards included with a pack somewhere.

Captain Marvel and Spider Woman Hawkeye and Black Widow Hulk and She-Hulk Captain America and Iron Man Dr Strange and Scarlet Witch Rogue and Magneto

There's just such fertile ground here to make Team-up cards more fun

@Dane-O-Myte you have my full support for this. The purpose of the game is to have fun. The rules add structure to that purpose, and make victory mean something... But rules can and should be altered/ignored when they take away from the fun of the game.

Even Fantasy Flight recognizes this (they encouraged players to return the Kree Command Ship to the box, which I immediately did)
