Black Widow - ETB #Valuetown V-3.0

ETB concept with allies that fit the Leadership core sphere (Avenger, Shield).

Coming from MtG as my initial card game foray some almost two decades ago now, I love ETB effects. Getting max value out of cards for less is a huge part of that game and arguably so most TCG's and in LCG universes. When I saw that some of the cards in Brian's list did so, but he did the "Shield" theme, I thought I wonder if there is enough in my pool to go full into ETB. And that was that.

Nothing crazy earth shattering, outside of the standard core Leadership shell with these styles of decks (Make The Call, Rapid Response, Sneak Attack, etc.). Just decided I wanted some more replay value if I was going to be bringing cards back constantly/recycled from bin. Kaluu and Black Panther keep the hits coming with allies when you run low (grabbing necessary event cards for looping). I really dig the whole Squirrel Girl, Dance of Death for damage dispersion (choices). And otherwise you have staple cards like Nick and Mockingbird to round out the shell.

The girl loves to draw. Between Monica and Nick recursion, her AE ability, Avenger's Mansion, pseudo-draw with Safe House, Espionage triggers, more pseudo-draw with ally fetching/searching, you can commonly see between 9 - 12 cards in hand many turns throughout the game. Never feel behind with this deck, always feel like solutions are on board or imminent because you just see so many cards. It's not a "draw deck" type of combo deck. But, it definitely utilizes the principle to stay ahead and keep the throttle down.

Card costs are a bit steep in some instances with the ally pool, and some of our key pieces (Avenger's Mansion, Helicarrier, key kit cards, etc.). But, we do have six energy cards with Band Together being a great catch all in this deck for when you can't cheat allies in (without Rapid) or need that 3 cost kit card. Or, you can reduce the number of three and four cost allies here too. Depends on your card pool and if you have other ETB allies at cheaper costs, or better cost reduction cards available.

In testing phase at the moment. Generally play Core, Red Skull, Mad Titan, Guardians, with a few stand alones. And I play true solo standard/coop with buddies.
