For context, I've never played Regroup before, so this regime of broken-a$$ power is new to me.

In superpowered fiction, there's often this trope of a character's ultimate skill. A trump card ability that demonstrates a character's true power and mastery. For Magik, let's called it teleportation refined to an incredible degree... concentrating to keep many portals open at once, protecting allies from harm and bringing them back into the fight again and again.

The key card to representing that ultimate skill is Regroup. Here we combine Regroup with plentiful discounts to replenish our army of allies with ease. In multiplayer, you could potentially defend with 4 allies, returning all 4 to hand. With Uncanny X-Men in play you get 4 effective resources to play them baseline, plus potentially: discounts from Team-Building Exercise and Magik's hero ability, refunds from ally's enter play effects (e.g. Beast, Pixie), and the extra card from The Sorcerer Supreme. That's a lot of math I don't want to do, but trust me, it's in your favor.

3x copies are for maximum consistency and speed of setup. The number of Team-Building Exercises you'll want out can vary with player count. Ally list can definitely be tailored to the team composition and scenario, but I think is pretty solid for the low cost and prevalence of enters play effects. You can kind of tailor what allies you want to keep on the table for the situation, which is one of the most fun parts of piloting the deck. Damage push? Recur Cyclops. Threat mitigation? Recur Beak. Economy an issue? Recur Pixie or Beast.

Like I said I've never played Regroup before, but I think I get the hype now. Enjoy!
