"Just play the cards with Spider-Man in the corner" is the conventional wisdom for playing Spider-Man: Miles Morales. This deck asks the question, what if not?

A couple of key interactions:

Suit Up should typically reach for Maria Hill or Nick Fury. Often, you may have an Energy/Genius/Strength and a Power of Leadership: in this case, use the one to play Suit Up and the other to play Maria Hill. Other times, you may have Energy/Genius/Strength and a Power in All of Us: in this case, use the E/G/S to play Suit Up and the Power in All of Us to help you play Nick Fury.

Similarly with Make the Call: your best target is typically Maria Hill, but otherwise, the target that helps you utilize your Power Of.

Prioritize playing Clarity of Purpose on yourself. You may play another copy on another player. But do NOT play the last copy, so that Suit Up always has a target (and the Clarity of Purpose you pull can be spent as a resource).

Prioritize the best target for Team Training, which may not be yourself (though as soon as you have two Command Teams out, Team Training allows you to gain greater value from Slingshot and Nick Fury).

This is so cool! I’d be in for that game!

I thought the wording on Make the Call ("pay the printed cost") meant that you couldn't use the "power of" cards as doubles for that action? Have I been restricting myself needlessly?

WHATS UP DANGA

@boomguy it took me almost a minute of asking myself "who's 'Danga'?" Before I realized you were quoting a most excellent song from the soundtrack of a most excellent movie featuring this most excellent Web-Warrior.

@Footballcoach …it’s just the next line one the song after the title of this deck. So thanks to this it’s been in my head all day

@Footballcoach Yes, you've apparently been hobbling yourself. Check the wording of "The Power of..." cards: "Double the number of resources this card generates while paying for...". Make the Call requires you to pay a printed cost. If you're paying using an applicable Power of... card, it generates double the resources.

@boomguy``@andyr@CoH2025 I'd love to play this with you guys!

@Footballcoach``@Excelsior! Right, as Excelsior! said, the ruling for Make the Call allows Power Of to double the cost if it matches the ally. So this is really helpful for using The Power of Leadership to play Maria Hill with Make the Call, but I have always found The Power in All of Us to be incredibly strong with Make the Call, since everyone can run basic allies, so in multiplayer you almost certainly have a great target in someone's discard pile (especially since Nick Fury is always a good target).

And yes, WHATS UP DANGA. "I like high chances that I might lose," but with this deck, I don't think that's too likely.

Always like seeing Cell Phone in a multiplayer deck. Make sure to give me a call at the Con!

“I like tall buildings so I can leap off of em” Well now that song’s gonna be stuck in my head all day.

I like Clarity of Purpose used with Miles since he wants to flip to alter ego a lot anyway and has a high REC. Excited to see this at con!

@MrSelfDestructLet's play!

@TheDailyStrugle Right, also it means you always have the resource you need for his cards!

Looks great. Big fan of suit ups, and this looks great for multiplayer with the cell phone and passing out Clarity to everyone. Love make the call to make having both types of "power ofs" more consistent
