Control deck that primarily stays in alter-ego; not the only one on this site but this uses some of the newer cards like Cell Phone and Disguise.
Cell Phone is only good in multiplayer, and even then it’s a little gimmicky and situational, but when it’s good it’s really good. Basically lets you sequence things outside of the usual turn order so you can let people take “last hits” on things.
Apart from that, this deck is decently playable as a “true solo” in most scenarios, it’s just kind of slow. The priority is getting Safe House out so you can play Counterintelligence every turn. Disguise and Covert Ops allow you to throw in some additional direct thwarting each turn. If you can’t get the Safe House or Disguise in your first round, consider using Hero Form for a little while to buy time. You can recover later (hopefully) since as soon as you get Safe House and the Gauntlets you should be able to effectively “pay” for staying in alter ego form all game (Counterintelligence preventing a big chunk of acceleration or villain scheming, whichever is bigger).
Winter Soldier almost always plays for free because of all the Preparation cards you can play but can’t use.
Once the villain is at about 1/3 of their max health, you should be able to flip to Hero and stay Hero to pile on the damage and finish the game.
