X-Men / X-Force crossover mission led by Rogue!
TLDR: Recursive leadership deck that keeps resetting allies. Lots of tricks in a feel good format. Good for solo or team play. Beginner+ accessibility.
The central card here is Mutant Mayhem. Using this to reset two allies means we can get extra mileage out of entering play effects and casually extend the lifespan of high consequential damage characters like Cable. Lots of allies in the list gives you utility choices and feeds a rapid set up using Cerebro and To Me, My X-Men. Superpower Adaptation and touching an ally means you effectively have up to 6 copies of Mutant Mayhem in your deck, and Hope Summers can help you speed that along when needed.
You won't be leaning too heavily on her kit of superpowers until the mayhem is up and running. Once it is, though, you'll have Beast paying for the Mayhem and other things while not needing to replace allies too often.
Let Rogue take the hits for the team, keeping her party up. Seriously, don't sack folks unless you're close to KO. Colossus and Prof X are there to give her physical cover for staying up and confusion cover for tapping down, if needed. Triage offsets HP drain.
Combos of note:
To Me, My X-Men and Sneak Attack allow you to play your characters on the cheap, then re-play them with Mutant Mayhem so they don't go away at end of phase.
Beast is a top tier pick for resetting with Mutant Mayhem, as he can recover your one copy of Band Together to pay for the next Mutant Mayhem. Hope can get you Superpower Adaptation from the deck to recover Mutant Mayhem, meaning resetting Beast/Hope often tees you up to do it a second or even third time in the same round. Remember to use their basic powers between each loop.
Looping Pixie and Caliban gets you characters from everywhere. 'Nuff said.
