LACK OF SUBTLETY · 1047
Waylay caught my attention and I wanted to make a deck that capitalized on it. Rather than relying on thwart events, (which would require resources that you would need to spend on Waylay). I built this deck to have a strong basic thwart that can then be followed up with Waylay or Brains Over Brawn. Both if you have enough resources.
Bishop is definitely the man for the job with lots of resources and no great love of exhausting to defend, leaving him free for basic thwarts.
This is Bishop, so Bishop's Uniform is always played at the first opportunity. Beyond that, Symbiote Suit is your second best card to get out early, bumping your THW and hp. Heroic Intuition further increases your THW.
Synch and Cell Phone can help bum up your thwarts, allowing you to clear schemes and get the big 7 damage on waylay, but remember that they only affect that use, so they will not bump up the damage for Brains Over Brawn.
3 X-men allies with options for Mission Training can help set tee-up schemes to be cleared by Bishop, as well as provide extra offense. Husk can benefit from the versatility ofStored Energy cards as well.
This deck has performed well for me in multiple games and I hope you enjoy it.
