The Iceman Cometh

So, this is my first customized deck (so be gentle). Its mostly based on the default Iceman deck with a few variations.

Like any Iceman deck, the main focus is on readying him as often as possible. This is accomplished in a few ways. First, I stacked the deck with cheap (cost 2) allies with whom to spam Utopia. Speaking of Utopia, one of those allies is Forge, who gives me a 2nd shot at pulling Utopia earlier in the game. The only cost 3 ally is Professor X, who allows you to ready your hero just by showing up. Combine him with Utopia and you can be ready AND use one of Xavier's other options (confuse the villain or stun a minion). Top it off with a couple of X-Men Instructions and you can potentially recycle Prof X (and another ally) through your deck 2 more times.

Looking for trouble is just a fun way to chip away at some threat. Combine it with Ice Blast and you can one shot 3HP minions. Failing that, a combo of Suppressing Fire and and Surprise Move will take care of 4HP minions (5HP with Ice Slide in play) AND it will ready Iceman.
