Ever since Hangar Bay was released I've been thinking of a viable strategy around having your allies repeatedly block for you without dying. Step in Doctor Strange with his amazing invocation spell, Seven Rings of Raggadorr!
The general idea is to get out Hangar Bay as soon as possible (which is why i've included two copies), along with some allies. Cycle through to Seven Rings of Raggadorr to give three of your allies a tough status card so that when they block they don't die.
You need to flip to alter-ego and use Wong to get to the invocation spell you need, plus use Master of the Mystic Arts to repeat it, but once you get three allies out they should be able to stay out all game.
Tough Allies and Double Consequential Damage
I've picked some allies that already come out with toughness to help Hangar Bay like Charlie-27 and Luke Cage. I've also picked allies that take more than one consequential damage when they attack or thwart, such as Brother Voodoo, Lockjaw and Rockslide, as putting toughness on them can help you play a more aggressive strategy.
Boost Defense
First Aid and Med Team help heal allies if they do take hits. Muster Courage is a card I've never really played with before, and is only decent if the villain is minimum stage 2, but works really well with this deck strategy.
What I like most about this deck is it takes Doctor Strange, generally regarded as the most broken hero, and pairs him with some of the most unfashionable cards in the game (Hangar Bay, Muster Courage, Charlie 27, Luke Cage etc) to try a completely new way of playing the game. Hope you enjoy :)
