Immortal Hawkeye

I’m a MASSIVE Hawkeye fan, and this is a new deck I’ve just started playing and it is so fun! Based around shield, this ‘immortal Hawkeye’ deck takes a while to get built out, but once you do your turns are filled with so much action! The whole process and game feels fresh and unique and is heaps of fun. Basically, I’ve picked Hawkeye as he is a hero who once you have his quiver and expert marksman’s, his kit cards are all pretty self sustained, meaning you can search for and play an arrow every turn without even touching your hand. Shield also works in a similar way, meaning even without your hand, every turn you can do sooo much! But the main idea of this deck is Hawkeyes ally mockingbird. She has an action where you can spend a card from your hand to prevent all damage from an attack and return her to your hand, and you can play her again with your 3 government liaisons, meaning… you can prevent every villain attack and never die! Then with your surveillance teams (that Monica Chang can bring in) and field agents, dum dum Dugan can be doing 30 damage before he leaves play! Then you still have a helicarrier and sky destroyer to delay some damage or exhaust to play cards like homeland intervention and global logistics, and any cards spare can be turned into damage with plan B. I love using this deck against Zola, due to Hawkeyes way to counter retaliate (helping to make him feel not as weak as he usually plays), getting full potential out of arrows like explosive arrow (I’ve had a turn when I played two of those arrows and killed 2 6 health minions, 2 5 health minions, and hit Zola for 6!). Also for awesome thematic reasons, Zola has a side scheme that begins the game in play called hydra prison, meaning you have to free mockingbird Bedford you can begin using the ‘immortal Hawkeye’ strategy!
