Changes since posting...
- Fantomex > Adam Warlock
- Atlas Bear > Professor X
- E.V.A. > Innovation (great for getting an extra activation out of Outlaw or Diamondback)
- The Posse > Sharpshooter (a bad misread on my part kept it out of the first draft!)
- Quincarrier > X-Gene
- Build Support > Superpower Training
Domino's Lucky Blue Dice
Allies:
- Her signature allies:
- Diamondback is fantastic with a minion out and FIRE with multiple minions!
- Outlaw provides a choice: Take a tempo hit and save her for a block, or get 4 attacks with a built-in Probability Field!
- As mentioned in my changes above, either would benefit from an Innovation
- Adam Warlock loves to discard Jackpot! or any
- Ant-Man is great in a deck with a 3-Resource card, which makes it easy to get him to 4 HP
- Beast goes in any deck of mine with big or special Resources, and is the primary "target" for Rapid Response and/or Call for Backup
- Maria Hill is Maria Hill!
- Professor X provides much needed Confuse and thwarting
- White Fox is fun when you shoot her out of a Domino's Pistol and then she finishes someone off and sticks around to block! She's great anytime she's discarded from your deck though, and Weapon X will discard multiples (usually) at a time.
Events:
- Make the Call is a must in a deck that has you discarding from the top of your deck, and (again) Weapon X will discard multiples (usually) at a time.
Player Side Schemes:
- Superpower Training gets Probability Field or a Domino's Pistol!
- Call for Backup, as previously mentioned, is for grabbing an important (or expensive) ally nearly on command.
The rest:
- Digging Deep: This is not just a resource! This being as good as it is surprised me, but is super good with Domino's Swap action! Swap it for the top card, use one of many "discard top card" abilities in the deck and it counts for 2, then don't use it as a resource unless you have to. It doesn't take up a card draw because you'll get to swap it to the top every turn and get that last card you would have drawn!
- I've already talked about all three of the supports I've added, but Weapon X bears further discussion. It's good to get and extra card coming out of alter-ego, but it's great when you may also get one or more resources (Digging Deep) and an ally into play (White Fox).
- Domino has several Superpower cards, so Deft Focus is a no brainer.
My thoughts about Jackpot!
A 3-Resource card is good for playing expensive cards (like Beast, because you'll get it right back), and while I'm happy to see Jackpot! on top when it gets discarded, I haven't been forcing it there except in certain circumstances:- The deck is running low (so it's shuffled into a thin deck)
- I have a minion, scheme or even the villain which an extra 3 would take care of (using Probability Field, etc.)
- I'm running low on health and want to flip down to recover (again using Probability Field, which will let me recover for 6).
Mulligans
Domino provides a really intense mulligan process imo, because sequencing can make a huge difference when you're playing her. Getting the cards you want on top of your deck is key, and that starts as early as your mulligan! There are a couple cards I feel strongly about having in my opening hand:- Probability Field is a priority, but any upgrade or ally that facilitates "discard top card" will do.
- Weapon X because I can only play and use it in alter
- Lucky and Good can save you from terrible boost effects!
- Pip the Pug is great to see in your opening hand because it makes your mulligans incredibly "sequency" as well, especially is you're going to be able to get a "discard from top" enabler in play as well. An easy example is to use White Fox to play Pip, use his ability to put her on top, and then get her into ply with any of your enablers.

I woouldn't have thought of Ant-Man! How are you playing Quincarrier?
