I’m quite excited for Gambit to come out. <3
Gambit comes with a lot of good Justice cards, but I’m choosing to build my boy a red list instead.
I’ll try to be as vague as I can, but there will be some spoilers for Gambit here.
In hero form, Gambit has a very consistent way of giving attack cards extra damage. So he benefits quite a bit from attack cards that deal multiple instances of damage. That’s why you see cards like Melee and Beat 'Em Up
The other card that shapes my list a lot is No Quarter . Gambit can increase its strength and thus draw extra cards with it, but I do need to run more Red cards than usual, because No Quarter can’t draw basic or hero cards.
That’s basically it. I only play multiplayer so I’m not sure how good this would be in solo.
I always like Browbeat for characters that can increase the damage, beats up the villians good.
What about Honed Technique?
I'll probably start him with Justice or Protection, but he really does have some insane damage potentials.
