Angry Red Spectrum Taking on MTS

This is a solid deck that illustrates how strong is Spectrum.

The good things with Spectrum are :

1. Her versatility

Being able to have a 3 in any of her stats is nothing to laugh at. Yes, changing forms can sometimes be tricky, but a good player with a good deck will do it without much trouble.

2. Superpowers

Out of her 15 cards, 11 can be have its cost reduced with Deft Focus. Those cards being very strong, being able to pay for them using one few ressource is really enjoyable.

3. Ressource Generators

Like the God of Thunder himself, Monica has two Hero Ressource cards. Plus, they can generate any ressource, great for playing the Wasp ally.

4. Aerial Trait But this deck doesn't take advantage of it.

Aggression Aspect in Solo

Spectrum joins Wasp, Rocket Raccoon and Star Lord (Captain America?), being able to have a THW of 3. This is really enjoyable in solo, since few schemes will have more than 4 threats on them.

In solo, it is preferable to play an aspect that complements your biggest strengths which, I believe, is her threat management.

Dealing damage is not an issue for her : she can deal tons of it. It think that her main issue is healing HP. Flipping to Pulsar Energy form heals to few cards and often breaks your momentum since you don't have your big ATK/THW the following turn.

Flipping to AE is not that hard with her, but still risky in solo and it also breaks your momentum, especially because you don't have a direct advantage to do so, except maybe the 6 hand size.

That's why I considered an ally swarm deck! You play allies, they activate a few times for you, and they block the villain's attack for you.

With Spectrum's economy, it becomes possible to play a big ally + an event/support each turn!
