Overview: Do you ever want to OTK any villain even if you’re in any solo game or almost in a 4 player game? This deck synergizes around trying to get Quicksilver’s basic ATK as high as possible while also trying to ready Quicksilver as much as possible. This deck heavily focuses on slimming down your deck to utilize by playing upgrades and supports and using ramp cards to quickly put them out into play even if in the chance that the villain survives the first wave you will be able to quickly build back up for another heavy swing. If you’re also playing with other heroes the extra ramp cards will benefit them as well.
Strategy: So through the math that I've done you can do up to 101 Dmg with just QuickSilver’s basic Atk. You can easily be in Hero or Alter-Ego to build up but I prefer to stay in alter as long as possible to make use of his ability and his Hero Supports. to get to this you’re gonna need some key specific cards. The first cards you want to make sure you have in your field are Quincarrier, Helicarrier, Friction Resistance, Serval Industries, & Scarlet Witch. These cards are gonna make sure you can quickly get all your upgrades in to play as fast as possible per his Speediness. These all either produce a resource or reduce the costs of the next cards you play which will help you ramp incredibly quickly. I included Serval industries because you can easily dump the unnecessary Hero cards to play either of these or some of your other upgrade cards and while you’re in Alter-Ego lets you put them back into your deck. Scarlet Witch can be a very important card to have in play at any point during your game. Utilizing your Alter ability to be able to dump 2 cards for 3 new ones which inturn can also be used with Serval Industries if they’re his Hero cards you can easily get them back for free. Her Thwart can also be good while you stay in Alter-Ego but try not to get her too low in health for later in the game. I also included Avengers Mansion to increase the number of cards you can draw which definitely helps when ramping up especially in late game when you’re building your hand for the kill shot but with its 4 cost is not an absolutely necessary card but if that’s all you draw into can be a game changer.
After you start ramping you’re gonna need to be able to quickly put down all the upgrades you draw into to start slimming your deck. A big key component is gonna be Deft Focus to lower the cost of all his Hero cards since most have the superpower trait. I would prioritize his ability upgrades in case you have to change into Hero to deal with minions/threats which wont stall or do too much dmg. The next cards you’re gonna want to start putting down are your Tenacity, Adrenaline Rush, Hulk, Spider Girl. These are some of the mainstay cards you’re gonna wanna have down for the inevitable kill shot any villain is gonna take. Tenacity is gonna ready your hero with the cost of a resource which can be easily obtained with Friction Resistance. Adrenaline Rush is going to increase your Dmg for the whole phase of combat which will be for all 10+ Atks that are gonna be performed. Hulk and Spider Girl are primarily in the deck just for low cost Avengers allies to be used by Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. The ones that don't need as much prioritizing are Lie in Wait, Godslayer, Jarnbjorn, and Brute Force. All of these will help you increase your Dmg output but are not as significant as the rest of your cards that you're gonna wanna play immediately. Godslayer and Brute Force are just upgrades that will boost your first Atk to maximize Dmg while Jarnbjorn will be a little more helpful to pump out an extra 2 Dmg with any sparing resource that you or any other players have to spare. Personally Lie in Wait is the most unneeded card in the deck; it was only put in as an extra upgrade for the deck and nothing else really fit in.
Now that you’re all set up it's time to just destroy the villain. To have the most absolute potential you will want to start your turn in Alter-Ego to have the most cards in your hand at the start of turn. Now you can easily still start your turn in Hero but for the absolute power house Dmg Alter-Ego is preferred. Once your turn begins you should have 15 cards left in your deck which should only pertain to the 3 energy resource cards and your 12 event cards in the deck. You draw your hand you’ll either have 9-10 cards left afterwards and you’re gonna wanna prioritize 1 Maximum Velocity and hopefully all your Earth's Mightiest Heroes and a few Always be Running. If you’re in alter-ego and have any Double Time’s or Energy resources or an extra Maximum Velocity use Pietro’s ability to pitch 2 to get 3 cards that you really need, if that doesn't help Avengers Mansion will help you get another card into your hand. The best possible hand is 1 Maximum Velocity and all your EMH & ABR which is a total of 7 cards. In the case you’re playing with others with Mansions as well ask them to lend you it for the round to increase your chances of this perfect hand. Once you have your hand flip over and this is where the fun begins. At this point you should have a base 3 Atk from his hero card and from Combat Training and before you perform you’re going to play Maximum Velocity to bump you up to 5 with Deft focus and any other ramp card you have. Once you make your first Atk you’re gonna trigger Adrenaline Rush for another +3 for a total of 8 then Godslayer for another +2 for 10 and then Brute Force for another +3 for a total of 13 base Atk for your first hit after this use Jarnbjorn with Friction Resistance for another 2 dmg for a total of 15. After QuickSilver’s ability triggers and he readys FR will also ready as well you will do the same thing and swing for 8 and ping for 2 for a total of 10 Dmg for the next wave for a total of 25. Then you’ll want to use EMH to ready swing and ping for 10 hopefully all 3 times for another 30 Dmg for a total of 55. Then since FR will be ready you’ll use it to pay for all 3 Tenacity for another 24 Dmg for a grand total of 79 Dmg. then the last but not least you’ll do the same but with the ABR in your hand for another 4 swings to total out at 28 Dmg for a grand total of 107 Dmg and the final hit will come from Jarnbjorn for the last 2 points of Dmg for the final total to be 109. This will be if you have the perfect hand but if not you can still achieve similar points of dmg.
Conclusion:
Now obviously this is not the most perfect deck list but in my play testing this is one of my favorite one’s to play. Being able to slowly melt the villain's hp with no special gimmicks besides using Quicksilver's basic Atk and his Hero cards. On average I've done this on turn 8 or 9 and it's not as fast as most other decks are at taking down the villain but I personally like the idea of ramping up and making one big turn against the enemy. I hope whoever finds this deck also enjoys it as much as I do and I might post some of my other decks that I have made as well for other heroes. Please leave any Comments, Questions, Concerns id love to address them and talk about thai fun deck that to my knowledge i created from what iv seen but who knows this is just my version of it i'd love to see what others have made as well on this topic of just killing villains with easily one of the most overpowered characters in my opinion in Marvel Champions.
