I can riposte with Excelsior all day!

Domino shines in Protection, and I was eager to try out some of the new Protection cards with her. She is going to be doing most of her work during the villain turn with this deck, with a laundry list of cards that she can use to make attacking her a regretful decision.

You just want to keep building her out, as her defense/counterstrike just keeps getting better as you go. Another bonus is that you don't need to build them in any particular order, just stack upgrades as you get the chance. Meanwhile, you can use Domino's Pistol and her event cards to get work done.

Here are the upgrade cards you are looking for:

Probability Field - boosts your DEF (or ATK or THW) Defensive Conditioning - boosts DEF, bonus HP Unflappable - draw card when you take no damage Excelsior - do damage when defending Change of Fortune - Draw cards when defeating enemy during villain turn Nerves of Steel - pay for defense cards Side Holster - allows you to have both pistols and Excelsior in in play

As you keep adding to that library, your defense events just get better and better. "I Can Do This All Day", "Stop Hitting Yourself", and Riposte allow you to defend regularly and make it hurt to attack you.

You can improve this further by getting out Nova for even more damage, Enhanced Reflexes to fuel Excelsior and Nova and The Painted Lady to save events and upgrades you don't want going in the discard pile while doing your Domino shenanigans.
