Code Red- All Personnel Report for Duty

Having fun with Maria Hill lately, so wanted to see what I can build for her in Aggression. This deck includes an impressive amount of S.H.I.E.L.D staff on the ground, behind the scenes and working in teams - all to create an extensive production for Maria Hill to direct.

The Agents

Agent 13: Chosen as Carter can thwart well but just as important, she can ready a support, such as Government Liaison or Sky-Destroyer;

Captain America: Has a handy tough, and is well rounded in stats. He can ready any of the other allies or Maria Hill, in order to gain that extra activation;

Deathlok: Slightly cheaper but his 2THWT is very handy. His attack isn't going to set the world on fire, so I mainly use him to thwart or defend. For this reason, I've not included S.H.I.E.L.D. Sidearm for Deathlok in this deck;

Dum Dum Dugan: One of the allies you should aim to keep around. Use Med Team or multiple Field Agent s to manage his consequential damage. When the opportunity arises, use his ability to pump up his stats;

Melinda May: Solid stats and can either attack or thwart well. Haven't really exploited her ability to see the top card of encounter deck - so just use this in its simplest terms...to either discard a bad one or have you prepare for the boost to come;

Mockingbird: Can stun (if villains are susceptible) and I typically use her to ping off a tough, or just thwart one threat off. She's good to chump block and recur;

Nick Fury: Alongside Dum Dum Dugan, Nick is probably the most important ally. Similar to Dum Dum Dugan, use Med Team and Field Agent to keep him alive so he can keep supplying all-purpose counters for you;

Winter Soldier: A decent ally who can take care of minions to trigger his threat removal...prioritise Bucky to finish a minions off...

One Extra Event

The only additional event included is Super Spies to stock up on all-purpose counters at basically no cost. Consider placing on either Government Liaison or The Triskelion until you know where you want Maria Hill to shift the counters.

The Support Crew

Field Agent: Cheap supports that can easily be replenished with Reinforcements alongside other supports. Try and get all three out, or at least two, to keep your allies on the board;

Government Liaison: As mentioned, can be readied by Agent 13 to gain two activations in a phase. As most cards in deck are S.H.I.E.L.D, Government Liaison is a cheap option for paying for cards;

Med Team: Prioritise at least one of these if you can. As with any all-purpose counters, always keep in mind for Maria Hill to shift one counter to another support to keep it in play. Use Nick Fury early game to keep counters on Med Team to keep agents alive;

Sky-Destroyer: A bit expensive, but since there are so many S.H.I.E.L.D cards, and it's not an attack, it can take care of minions and potentially activate twice with Agent 13;

Tac Team: Aim for mid to late game for this team to give that final push; 2 damage non-attack is great, and won't trigger any villain retaliation or abilities related to an 'attack';

The Bellerophon: Alongside The Iliad, this will cause the most damage. Getting this out mid game can ease the pressure on minions building up;

The Triskelion: A cheap supports and a bank for all-purpose counters as it technically doesn't use them. Store some here if you can then have Maria Hill shift it to other supports as you need...also, allowing a 4th ally is important as the allies in this deck do alot of work...!

Director in the Chair

Maria Hill is a very fun hero to play. I didn't give her much credit at first but after playing her a few more times, I've really come to enjoy the resource management. It's a very different feel and she can be very powerful (who cares if she gets stunned? If villains react from attacks- no problem!)

Make sure to always listen to Maria Hill - but never forget too.... It's a team effort!
